Hey, I'm Akif, and welcome to my website. Initially, this website was a university project with a focus on real estate investing. Here I demonstrated the effectiveness of tools such as Sprout Social, Canva, Google Analytics, Bitly and a few other for my project. However, I later realized that I could use what I had learned and provide a value-added service to my real estate clients by writing articles about what they were interested in. I decided to keep my website alive and continue to build on top of it.
I completed my real estate education with OREA and started working as a realtor while I was still in university. I graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Commerce degree in accounting, I continued my career as a real estate agent. Immediately after graduating I wanted to learn more about real estate so I started a post-graduate program in real property valuations at the University of British Columbia. I was able to use my experience as a real estate agent to successfully complete the program within 1 year while working.
During this time I developed an interest in finance, economics, and digital marketing. I wanted to take on more creative projects but at the same time still provide value to my clients. My investor clients would often ask about my opinion and views of the market. I saw this as a perfect opportunity to develop a website to answer some common questions I received. It is also a great opportunity to keep in contact with my clients. In the near future, I will be posting more about personal finance, investing in different securities and tips to manage your finances.
In my spare time, I am working on a new side project with a local business, Seaway Property Management, helping build and launch their brand. I am responsible for developing a marketing strategy, and managing rental property finances. This project is still in development.
